Perfect Bacon

So simple, yet so often you are served bacon where the fat is still soggy or it has been overcooked to the point where it crumbles on the first bite.

There are many ways to make perfect bacon, frying pan, microwave and even the oven. Be sure you are not cooking at too high of a temperature.  There is a fine line between over and under-cooked. Make sure the fat is not clear, but not overcooked. As soon as you see this, remove immediately.

Microwave

This is method is good for reducing excess fat. Place the bacon on a microwave safe, ribbed pan, cover with sheet of paper toweling, then cover again with another sheet, Sprinkle some water over the top to keep the microwave fan from blowing off the toweling. My microwave cooks six(6) pieces of thin cut bacon perfectly with a five(5) minute cook on hi.

Stove and oven

Nothing special here, just watch carefully and do not cook be careful not to cook on too high of a heat setting.
