French Toast

Again, nothing exotic about this recipe. This was always a kid favorite. Just take a couple of eggs and beat them in a bowl, add some cinnamon and a cap full of vanilla extract.

Pick a good bread (it should be a bit dried or hard on the outside for best results) with some body or even a baguette sliced on an angle the long way. Dip into the egg mix and fry until golden brown on both sides.

Serve with a bit of butter and the syrup of your choice.

Also best served with perfect bacon.
